1. Select a photo or photos that you would like me to use to create your custom portrait. Please make sure you select a sharp photo (your painting will only be as sharp as the photograph), and that your pet’s eyes are clearly visible and in focus in the photo you choose.

3. Decide on the size you would like. I have listed some options here.

4. Send me your photo(s) via email.

5. We will then have a phone call or messenger communication to discuss this further (i.e background etc). We can decide together whether to include background details or not. A detailed background adds significantly to the time it takes to complete a portrait and increases the price. I will let you know when my next availability is when we speak, and will ask you to send a $30.00 deposit to reserve your spot in my schedule (deducted from the total cost).

6. I will contact you when I begin work on your portrait and will send you a photo of the preliminary “blueprint”. You will then transfer 25% of the payment. From the time I begin a portrait to the time it dries it will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks depending on size.

7. As soon as it is ready I will send you a photo of the completed art work. You then send me the remaining 75% of the payment. The painting will take at least a week to dry as I use oil paints. When it is dry I will communicate with you and you can pick up your work of art or it can be shipped to your home! I can also meet you somewhere at your convenience if you live in Montreal area.
