I use oil paints on canvas. Oil paint colours are made by mixing dry powder pigments with refined linseed oil. They have been used by artists for centuries.

Oil paints are my favourite, they allow for subtle and deep colour palettes. When I begin your portrait I make pencil grids to help guide me in creating what I call a “blueprint”, or preliminary outline which I paint in French Aquamarine Blue. I then add the colours and details. I will send you the blueprint before I begin.

  1. $50 per additional pet in a portrait.

  2. All payments are made via email interact transfer, or Paypal if you are outside of Canada.

  3. 25% of the payment must be made on receipt of the blueprint photo, and the remaining 75% when you receive the photo of the finished painting. Once the full payment is made I can ship you the art work or you can pick it up.

  4. Prices do not include shipping costs. I ship with Canada Post and the cost will be calculated with your address and the size/weight of the painting you choose, and added to the total cost.

  5. In person pick-ups can be made directly at my studio in Montreal, or I can meet you somewhere nearby.

  6. Special project prices are based on the size selected and the detail of the project.
